Hunger Hurts was founded in 2016 with a mission to eradicate poverty in Malaysia. To date, they have raised more than RM500,000 and served over 10,000 beneficiaries with food aid and other meaningful forms of support.
The funds Hunger Hurts receives from this campaign will go towards these five programmes: ‘One Meal’ delivering hot food from small businesses to underprivileged communities, ‘Starting Line’ a scholarship and financial support matching programme for high-school students, ‘Individual Beneficiary Engagement’ which seeks to understand each beneficiary’s unique needs, ‘Projek Sekolah’ which aims to fulfill students’ educational wishlists, and ‘Feed A Kid’ combatting children’s malnutrition.
